Terms and conditions

All registrations are made subject to the terms and conditions of Arthrex Ltd as set out below:

Arthrex Ltd will confirm bookings (subject to availability) for the ArthrexLive Surgery event only on receipt of the correct course fee and registration information from each delegate.

Bookings can be made by the submission of an online booking form at www.arthrexlive.co.uk

Upon Arthrex Ltd written (including online) communication to you of its acceptance of your booking for a place at the event there shall be a legally binding contract between Arthrex Ltd and you to which these terms apply.

Whilst in attendance at the event, if we reasonably consider that your behaviour is inappropriate, disruptive, offensive, dangerous or illegal, we may ban you from further participation in the event without a refund.

Payment Terms
Payment is required within 14 days of the registration being received. If registration is made within 14 days of the conference, payment is required immediately. In all cases when payment is not received before the event, we reserve the right to refuse admission to the event.

Methods of Payment
Payments are accepted in Sterling only.

BACS transfer payment is the preferred method of payment and most secure option, to:

Arthrex Ltd, Bank of America; Sort code: 16-50-50; Account number: 79609015. Please ensure to add your surname and 'ALKnee' or ‘ALFoot’ as appropriate for the reference.

Any cheques must be drawn on a UK bank account with a UK sort code and should be made payable to Arthrex Ltd and sent to Arthrex Ltd, Unit 5, 3 Smithy Wood Drive, Smithy Wood Business Park, Sheffield, S35 1QN.  Credit card payments can be taken over the phone by calling 0114 232 9180.

Registration Fee
The registration fee covers attendance at all sessions, refreshments, lunch and any conference documentation on the day.

Event Accommodation
Overnight accommodation is not included in the registration fee.

Should you require accommodation, the Apollo Hotel, Basingstoke, is a short taxi ride or 10 minute walk from the Hospital. The hotel has free car parking and leisure facilities. To make your booking call the hotel directly on 01256 796799.

Please note rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking and organisers do not accept any liability of bookings between the hotel and delegates.

Travel
Travel is not included in the conference fee. It is the responsibility of the attendee to make their way to the conference venue in adequate time. Arthrex Ltd is not liable for any delays or non-attendance resulting from delayed or suspended transportation. Directions to the conference venue can be found on the venue page of the conference for which you are registering.

Access and dietary requirements

Cancellations
Notice of cancellation must be received in writing and receipt acknowledged. Provided that written notice is received no later than 1 calendar month before the event you will receive a full refund less a handling fee of £25. Cancellations received after this date will be subject to 100% of the fee. All cancellations must be emailed to events@arthrex.co.uk or submitted in writing to Arthrex Ltd, Unit 5, 3 Smithy Wood Drive, Smithy Wood Business Park, Sheffield, S35 1QN.    We recommend using a method of recorded delivery to ensure notice of cancellation is received. Substitutions will be accepted up to one week prior to the course and conference documentation will be provided.

Substitutions and Name Changes
Substitutions are acceptable up to one week prior to the course date. To inform us of a name change, please email events@arthrex.co.uk

Indemnity
It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of the conference organisers to alter the venue, content or the timing of the programme. We will endeavour to keep you abreast of such changes but any reasonable change to the conference format will not constitute a reason to refund the conference fee. Should the event be postponed, we will endeavour to reschedule the event. If, for reasons beyond the control of Arthrex Ltd, an event is cancelled, a full refund will be made. We are not liable to pay any incurred costs resulting from any postponement or cancellation, Arthrex Ltd total liability to you in connection with the cancellation of an event shall be limited to a refund of the fee.

We will not offer refunds to delegates due to circumstances affecting the event, or your ability to attend it, which are outside our control (for example, but not limited to, a terrorist alert or incident or adverse weather) unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled for another date, in which case we will retain up to 50% of the delegate fee to cover marketing, administration and delegate registration costs.

Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that of persons for whose acts or omissions we are legally liable, we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage of any kind, whether direct, indirect or consequential, which you may suffer at or in relation to the event, and our aggregate liability to you will in any case be limited to the amount you have paid to us.

Views expressed by speakers are their own and Arthrex Ltd disclaims all liability for advice given or views expressed during an event.

Arthrex Ltd does not accept responsibility for the non-arrival of event information.

Please note that for promotional purposes, the event or part of it may be filmed by audio, visual, audio-visual or electronic means. You agree to permit Arthrex Ltd to use and distribute such footage, which may feature images of you, in all or any media whether now known or hereafter to be invented throughout the world in perpetuity for the purposes of advertising, publicity, reporting and otherwise in relation to the exploitation of such recordings.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arthrex Ltd shall not be liable to you for any direct, indirect, economic or consequential loss or any loss of business, use, profit, anticipated profit, contracts, revenues, goodwill or anticipated savings arising in connection with this Agreement, even if you have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the provisions will continue in full force and effect as if the terms had been executed with the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision omitted. Any express or implied waiver to perform any obligations under these terms will not prevent the subsequent enforcement of them. A person who is not a party to these terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these terms.

These terms shall be governed by English law and you hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Nothing in this clause shall limit Arthrex Ltd right to take proceedings against you in any other court of competent jurisdiction.
