Registration terms and conditions

All registrations are made subject to the terms and conditions of Arthrex Ltd as set out below:

Arthrex Ltd will receive bookings (subject to availability) for the Shoulder Arthroscopic Live Surgery Course by either receipt of a completed registration form or by telephone, accompanied by full payment details. Booking will not be confirmed until payment has been made in full.

Payment Terms
Payment is required within 30 days of the registration being received. When registration is made within 30 days of the conference, payment is required before the first day of the conference. In all cases when payment is not received before the event, we reserve the right to refuse admission to the event.

We must receive payment prior to the event date. If you have not received confirmation of your booking within 14 days of the event, please contact rosalyn.barber@arthrex.co.uk as we may not have received your booking. We cannot be held responsible for the non-arrival of information.

Whilst in attendance at the event, if we reasonably consider that your behaviour is inappropriate, disruptive, offensive, dangerous or illegal, we may ban you from further participation in the event without a refund.

Methods of Payment
Payments are accepted in Sterling only.
Payments can be made by credit card, Cheque payments or Bank transfers – please request details.
Cheques must be drawn on a UK bank account with a UK sort code and should be made payable to ‘Arthrex Ltd' and sent to Shoulder Arthroscopic Live Surgery Course, Arthrex Ltd, Unit 5, 3 Smithy Wood Business Park, Smithy Wood Drive, Sheffield, S35 1QN.

Registration Fee
The registration fee covers attendance at all sessions, refreshments, plus conference documentation on the day.

Event Accommodation
Overnight accommodation is not included in the registration fee.

Travel
Travel is not included in the conference fee. It is the responsibility of the attendee to make their way to the conference venue in adequate time. Arthrex Ltd is not liable for any delays or non-attendance resulting from delayed or suspended transportation. Directions to the conference venue can be found on the venue page of the conference for which you are registering.

Cancellations
Notice of cancellation must be received in writing and receipt acknowledged.
Cancellation notices must be submitted by either emailing rosalyn.barber@arthrex.co.uk or by writing to Shoulder Arthroscopic Live Surgery Course, Arthrex Ltd, Unit 5, 3 Smithy Wood Business Park, Smithy Wood Drive, Sheffield, S35 1QN.

Cancellation charges shall be applicable as follows:

Written notice received by us % of Fee to be charged
Prior to 19th February 2016 Full refund less £25 handling fee
After 19th February 2016 100%

You agree that these charges represent a genuine pre-estimate of the costs Arthrex Ltd will incur as a result of cancellation.

We recommend using a method of recorded delivery to ensure notice of cancellation is received. Substitutions will be accepted and conference documentation will be provided.

Substitutions and Name Changes
Substitutions are acceptable at any time. To inform us of a name change, please email rosalyn.barber@arthrex.co.uk

Security
Arthrex Ltd is committed to ensuring that the submission of sensitive information, such as credit card details, is safe and secure. We employ reputable and reliable service providers to ensure such information is protected. All information we hold is kept secure with access limited to personnel charged with the processing of such data. All personal data is gathered and processed in line with the Data Protection Act.

Indemnity
It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of the conference organisers to alter the venue, content or the timing of the programme. We will endeavour to keep you abreast of such changes but any reasonable change to the conference format will not constitute a reason to refund the conference fee. Should the event be postponed, we will endeavour to reschedule the event. If, for reasons beyond the control of Arthrex Ltd, an event is cancelled, a full refund will be made. We are not liable to pay any incurred costs resulting from any postponement or cancellation, Arthrex Ltd total liability to you in connection with the cancellation of an event shall be limited to a refund of the Fee.

We will not offer refunds to delegates due to circumstances affecting the event, or your ability to attend it, which are outside our control (for example, but not limited to, a terrorist alert or incident or adverse weather) unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled for another date, in which case we will retain up to 50% of the delegate fee to cover marketing, administration and delegate registration costs.

Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that of persons for whose acts or omissions we are legally liable, we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage of any kind, whether direct, indirect or consequential, which you may suffer at or in relation to the event, and our aggregate liability to you will in any case be limited to the amount you have paid to us.

Views expressed by speakers are their own and Arthrex Ltd disclaims all liability for advice given or views expressed during an Event. Documentation distributed at an Event is intended for information only and should not be relied upon.

Arthrex Ltd does not accept responsibility for the non-arrival of Event information.

Please note that for promotional purposes, the Event or part of it may be filmed by audio, visual, audio-visual or electronic means. You agree to permit Arthrex Ltd to use and distribute such footage, which may feature images of you, in all or any media whether now known or hereafter to be invented throughout the world in perpetuity for the purposes of advertising, publicity, reporting and otherwise in relation to the exploitation of such recordings.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arthrex Ltd shall not be liable to you for any direct, indirect, economic or consequential loss or any loss of business, use, profit, anticipated profit, contracts, revenues, goodwill or anticipated savings arising in connection with this Agreement, even if you have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the provisions will continue in full force and effect as if the terms had been executed with the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision omitted. Any express or implied waiver to perform any obligations under these terms will not prevent the subsequent enforcement of them. A person who is not a party to these terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these terms.

These terms shall be governed by English law and you hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Nothing in this clause shall limit Arthrex Ltd right to take proceedings against you in any other court of competent jurisdiction.
